Nutrition copy writing fee schedule and process for working together

Your project is unique. We begin with an evaluation of your  needs with our 6- step process.  

• We charge a flat fee for each project, rather than by the hour. This way there are no surprises at the end, and you don’t have to worry about how many hours we spend getting the work done.
• Once we go through the our 6 step process, we will quote a project fee. This is based on the amount of research, the writing involved, and your time frame.
• We charge half of the fee up front and half when the project is completed. You get two revisions and a final version, within two months of the time I submit the first draft.  The down payment is non-refundable and considered a kill-fee if you cancel the project part-way through.
• We offer a 5% discount for full payments up front.

 6 Step Process to Working Harmoniously

1. Initial briefing – We discuss your specific needs with you on the phone, based on a series of questions. This in-depth briefing usually takes about 20-35 minutes.

2. Background research – We review reference materials, do extensive keyword searches, and research anything else you need to reach your target audience.

3. In-house review of contents - Our team reviews the content before it is sent to the client.

4. First draft – We usually send you the first draft within 10-14 days, depending on the size of the project.

5. Feedback – We discuss your feedback and make your requested changes to the content.

6. Final revisions – We make any final revisions required to finalize the project. This is included in the project fee, as long as the revisions are requested within two months of the submission.

This simple process provides transparency so you know the project fee is capitated and the project is being completed by experienced registered dietitians and nutrition professionals.
